as Jenny Mills
Jenny was a little wild in her youth but has become a down to earth idealized suburban mother. In the midst of the zombie apocalypse, she finds herself separated from her daughter Anne and she'll do anything to find her and make sure she's safe.

She studied Meisner at Playhouse West in L.A. under the instruction of Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum and studied comedy at the 2nd City Conservatory performing with such people as Martin Short, Fred Willard, Catherine O'Hara and many others. In addition to acting, she also wrote and produced the film CROSSED.
Joe Thackery

as Sam Mills
Sam is Jenny's husband and father of Anne. Sam is your standard young suburban father, working to support his family and do something interesting with his life. When zombies invade he finds himself focused on finding his daughter and keeping his wife from harm.
Ohio Born and Texas raised actor, Joseph Thackery has done a little of everything. Mowing hundreds of lawns per week helped pay for too many years of college for a BS degree in Finance. Although selling real estate, being a landlord, or remodeling an investment property pays the bills, acting, muscle cars, and big dreams feed his soul.

A few of Joe Thackery's recent credits include "Prison Break” on Fox, and starring roles in short films “Coffee Cup” and “Reminiscence,” which both won 1st place in the NLC Film Festival for comedy and drama, respectively. Studying under Theresa Bell, he follows her philosophy to “act what the writer wishes he had written”.

Jason Harper

as Nick Mills

Nick is Sam's younger brother who has done nothing with his life but party and intrude on Sam and Jenny's couch. Nick is self serving and looking to survive the end of the world at any cost.
A skilled theater performer, Jason began acting at the age of fifteen in high school productions in his hometown of Ingleside, Texas. Since then, Jason has written, directed, and starred in numerous theatrical productions around the state, even forming his own theater company. His film credits most recently include "The King" with Gael García Bernal and the PBS special, "U.S.S. Lexington: More Than Meets the Eye".

Steven Lee

as Jack Hays
Hays is a larger than life Texas Ranger that finds himself in charge of a rescue station. He has one goal, making sure that as many people as possible survive the rescue station and make it to the quarentine.
Stephen Lee began his acting career in local theatre by playing a singing, dancing Knight in “Once Upon A Mattress.” He followed this with lead roles in “The Battle Of Shallowford” and “North Fork.” Lee was also featured in the made for tv movie, “Warning: Parental Advisory.” In addition, Lee was a Principal in numerous Industrials and Commercials For Scott & White Medical Center, Apple Moving Company, Compaq Computers, and IDB/PPD-IDB. Lee's movie credits include Featured roles in”Pearl Harbor,” “The Wendell Baker Story,” and “Have You Heard?”. In addition, Lee starred in the independent short “Vince.”. Lee is proud to play Ranger Jack Hayes in “Risen.”

Audrey Davis

as Chris' Mom
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, but as a typical military brat, didn't spend much time on the East coast. Did tours in England, Germany and Texas, but always called California home base. She studied dance and gymnastics as a child and continued with dance, on and off, well into adulthood. Appeared in dance productions in and around San Antonio, Texas, including appearances on local TV stations. Ms. Davis began her theatre training in High School and later garnered a BA from (Southwest) Texas State University in Theatre Arts. Following graduation, Ms. Davis moved back to California where she continued pursuing a career in Theatre. She has honed her craft both behind the scenes as Master Electrician, Set Designed, Costumer, Shop Steward, Director and Choreographer and on stage as an Actor and Dancer. Following the birth of her two children, she spent six years with the StarFire Dance Troupe in Monterey, California before moving to Los Angeles in the hopes of launching a TV/Film career. Having continued her training and participation in multiple non-union TV and Film projects in the Los Angeles arena, Ms. Davis is still hopeful and optimistic about finding success and fulfillment within the Entertainment Industry.

Damon Crump

Director
As a teenager, Damon made short films with his Dad's Super 8mm film camera. He later turned this hobby into a career and now has more than 18 years experience as a writer, producer, director, director-of-photography and editor through his Waco, Texas-based company Jackalope Entertainment. He has shot hundreds of commercials and corporate videos, and served as a producer on the feature film Shades of Grey, as an Associate Producer on Go With Me and as 2nd Unit DP on Broke Sky, all independent movies shot in Texas. His productions have won many local and national awards.
John Franklin

John graduated from Baylor University with a Radio-TV-Film degree and went straight to work as a writer and director, producing cable TV spots. He moved to Dallas to work for Phillips Productions, where he continued to thrive as a producer on a national scale. He later moved to Bryan/College Station to partner in the production company Frame by Frame. John has shot projects all over the world and has many local and national awards to his credit. John served as an associate producer on the indie film Go With Me and produced the short Trash Day. Over a 15-year career, John has become an accomplished writer, director and producer.

In his daytime life, David is the author of numerous technical articles and a book on technology. By night, David is a hard core zombie fan who put his efforts into his passion producing his first screenplay, "RISEN" starting work on it in early 2004. With the help of the zombie fan community, "RISEN" is sure to be packed full of everything zombie fans have ever wanted in a zombie film!
Terry Crumpley

Terry's artist history goes back to the 70s as a rocker playing live covers and some original work. Today Terry is primarily a studio soundtrack artist and runs the film post production audio company, Sintz Productions which is a part of Deafwolf Enterprises, Terry's primary sound company. While he still writes and records music, for the last 5 years he's been involved in doing post audio on film. He does anything from simple audio scrub to Foley, soundFX, mastering, audio mixing and mastering and is also a rerecording artist.
